Producing high quality transcripts is an essential part of the qualitative data analysis process. This course provides some practical advice for transcription. We'll cover the use of consistent conventions, different levels of verbatim, equipment/software options and preparing transcripts for import into NVivo. We’ll also take a look at some of the machine transcription options currently on the market (NVivo Transcription, Rev, Trint and Otter) and compare them on both pricing and quality.
