Reference Management Software (RMS) can save significant time throughout the research process, but many researchers actively avoid it or do not use it to its maximum potential. In this session we’ll provide an overview of some of the commonly used RMS (EndNote, Zotero, RefWorks, Mendeley and Citavi) and discuss the pros and cons of each. We’ll also cover why these applications are a good choice for your research, and discuss best practices to ensure you make the most of the RMS you choose. Lastly, we’ll demonstrate EndNote and Zotero so that you can see this type of software in action.

In this session we’ll cover why visualisations might be useful for your qualitative research and discuss some ideas for creating a range of visualisations.
